Respite Funding

For children (17 years old and under) living at home:
Respite funding can be used to pay for services of a respite provider and can also reimburse fees for registered camps and community recreational programs with registered businesses.

To qualify for respite funding your child must have a professional assessment indicating an Intellectual Disability and/or a physical disability.

To apply, please contact the Agency that provides services to the area in which you live.

Please send a copy of your child's Psychological/Cognitive Assessment Report and/or Doctor's Diagnostic Report indicating aa Intellectual Disability and/or physical disability with your application to support your request for respite funding. You may send this documentation to the attention of the Respite Coordinator to the appropriate address above.
