Centre for Behavioural Health Sciences - Mackenzie Health , Centre for Behavioural Health Sciences - Mackenzie Health

	Mackenzie Health's Centre for Behaviour Health Sciences provides care for individuals living in York Region or Simcoe County who have a developmental disability with a significant cognitive delay, autism or are living with the effects of an acquired brain injury. CLH Developmental Services , Community Living Huronia

	CLH Developmental Support Services was chartered in 1960 and incorporated as a charitable non-profit organization in 1966. We are governed by a 9 member volunteer Board of Directors and has a mandate to provide programs and support to the children, youth and adults with developmental support needs (formerly developmental disabilities) and their families. CLH receives funding from the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing and the County of Simcoe. To support our range of programs and services, the agency employs over 300 employees and as such, are a significant employer in the community.

Empower Simcoe , Empower Simcoe

	Empower Simcoe, formerly known as Simcoe Community Services, is a charitable, non-profit organization that is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The agency was established in 1953 by parents wishing to offer their children with intellectual disabilities an alternative to institutional placement. Presently, the agency operates a Preschool Services Division, a Community Living Division as well as Regional Housing Support Services. Empower Simcoe develops, implements, and maintains a continuous quality improvement plan through the use of; The Child and Family Service Act, The Ministry of Community and Social Services’ Quality Assurance Measures, and Quality Measures as defined by the Council on Quality and Leadership. Focus is on the areas of Basic Assurances, Shared Values, Responsive Services, Community Life and Person Centered Excellence.
