Virtual respite programs are available for your child, youth and/or adult with special needs. These online interactive programs promote social connectivity, learning, engagement and fun!
Live and pre-recorded programming will include Coffee House, Social Hour, Games Days, and other activities including arts and crafts, life skills and try something new! The program is available everyday from 2:00pm - 4:00pm, with daily activities from Monday to Friday.
Easter Seals Remote Camp
Campers will engage in activities like Arts & Crafts, Music & Drama, Sports & Games, Outdoor Adventure, Science and Life Skills. Through live video, pre-recorded videos, and camp guests counselors, camp goers will have an action packed summer of remote camp. This program starts July 4th for 7 weekly sessions.
ErinoakKids's 2020 Better Together Summer Camp
This summer recreation camp is free and week-long from July 20 to August 28, 2020. Each day throughout the week will include plans for an outdoor adventure with your family, as well as crafts and games over Zoom. Kids can share their creations with fellow campers, and trained recreation therapists will guide them through each session.
Great Big Theatre Company
This innovative drama camp has a variety of fun and interactive activities for individuals 6-14 years old. Participants will be sharing in collaborative and engaging drama games, improvisations, art projects, plays and scenes, along with lots of music, mixed in with fun movement activities and dance parties.
Kerry's Place - Camp Connection
Children and youth have the opportunity to develop skills related to social interaction, maintaining friendships, and learning about others through fun activities that strengthen turn-taking and sharing skills as well as their imagination. This camp is for children and youth (6-17), and includes small groups of 3-6 participants.
Life Lessonz Virtual Day Program
This free structured and engaging summer day program is for young adults with developmental disabilities. Participants will receive a complimentary Camp Kit, and participate in activties that encourage them to make decisions, create new experiences, and communicate their feelings.
RecRespite Group Programs
Recreation therapists and community partners have come together to address a variety of interests, skil l practice, goals and outcomes that promote inclusion, encourage community participation and nurture social connectivity. These unique small group programs are offered for multiple age cohorts.
