Admission Criteria : | Provides holistic respite care for children aged 0-18yrs, who are deemed Medically Fragile and/or Technologically Dependent, in a relaxed and fun house setting. |
Activities : | Daily recreation and programming geared toward the age and developmental level of the children, including but not limited to: music therapy, use of snoezelen room, small group activities and local outings. |

Any diagnosis, or combination of diagnosis, that a child deemed MFTD might have. Holistic care including, but not limited to: assisting with OT/PT therapies, wound care, Oxygen therapy, tracheostomy and ventilator care, G-tube care, personal care (ie. toileting and changing incontinent products) and ADL's (Activities of Daily Living). Support Provided by Registered Practical Nurses 24/7 complimented with a combination of Developmental Services Workers and Personal Support Workers all trained with CPR / First Aid and Non Violent Crisis Prevention and Intervention. |
