The Parents Guide was developed to support parents in creating a positive and meaningful respite experience. You will build a useful binder of information about your child as you proceed through the course, that can be used for many purposes.
It can be challenging to have someone else come into your home on a regular basis to care for your child. This course will assist you in: searching out a respite worker that is a good fit with your family, compiling information they need to best support your child and how you can provide training and guidance. Applied Behaviour Analysis Training Modules for Families, Caregivers and Respite Workers
Applied Behaviour Analysis Training Modules for Families (ABATMF) is suitable for managing behavioural challenges of individuals of all ages and abilities. If your family member has intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or general behavioural challenges, this program may help you to manage the day-to-day demands that many families like you face. These modules take bits and pieces of the practical applications found in many of UNB CEL’s behavioural intervention programs to provide developed programs for specific behavioural difficulties shared by families. There is a cost to this training.
