Program Information:

The respiteservices.com site for Wellington region connects support providers to families and individuals.  Once active, support providers are added to the online database and their profiles are sent to families.

Are you a support provider looking to join our database?

We are always looking for dependable, compassionate individuals to join the support provider database.  We are seeking providers who can support people with different abilities.  Support providers should ilve in the Wellington region, or be willint to travel to the area.

Most families and individuals are looking for casual support providers to care for a family member during the evening, weekends and during the summer.  Support providers determine their own rate of pay, availability and duties based on qualifications and familty needs.

What to expect after you have completed your profile:

1. The coordinator will contact you regarding next steps.  You will need to provide a vulnerable sector check, two references adn attend a screeningand orientation session. 
2. Once all requirements are met, your profile will be switched to "active" and your profile be sent to families. 
3. Families will contact you directly.  You will work with families to arrange schedules, rates of pay, duties, etc.

Please note, support providers on our website are not employees of respiteservices.com or CMHA WW.  They work independently and are often independent contractors for families.

Are you already registered on our database as a support provider?

Log in to your profile on the top right of the website, using the username and password that was emailed to you when you were activated.  You can update your profile with current availability, contact information, experience, new certifications etc.

You can contact the coordinator at any time to request that your profile be sent to family matches.
