Respite Options

There are several respite options offered through community organizations.

For a referral or assistance in connecting to Respite Options:

Child/youth has a diagnosed developmental disability:

Child/youth has a diagnosed physical disability and
Child is 0-5 years of age (before 6th birthday):

Child/youth has diagnosed physical disability and
Child/youth is 7-17 years of age (before 18th birthday):

Child is 0 to 5 years of age (referred before their 6th birthday) without a diagnosis, has significant delays and will likely get a diagnosis:

If a child/youth has a Medically Fragile and Technologically Dependent designation:

For adults:

• Contact Developmental Services Ontario(DSO): DSO website or 1-888-941-1121
