Specialized Training for Respite Providers

Are you a respite worker who would like to improve your skills in order to more effectively work with adults in your community who have a developmental disability?

We are pleased to offer free adult-specific training across the Central West Region.  Trainings will be held in Halton, Peel, Dufferin, Wellington and Waterloo and will cover a wide-range of topics.

Trainings will include, but are not limited to: Non-violent Crisis Prevention and Intervention, First Aid/CPR, Sexuality, Mental Health, and much more.

Honorariums will be given to respite workers who complete trainings and provide feedback.
