In Waterloo Region, nine developmental service agencies offer a variety of respite programs, both in-home and out-of-home. These programs serve people of varying ages with a variety of different needs and interests. Individuals must be eligible for Passport funding. Individuals eligible, but not receiving or choosing not to use their funding can use private funds to pay for supports |
Activities : | Adult Respite Fun Groups (ARFG) are a unique respite experience and are all about fun! Each group is made up of five to six participants over the age of 18 and facilitated by two leaders. The groups meet weekly and spend time eating at restaurants, volunteering, playing sports or attending community events. It’s all about connecting with your peers, your community and having fun! |
