Education and Experience : | My name is Amanda and I am entering my third year in the BHSc of Health Sciences program at the University of Ottawa. I am interested in a career that allows me to help others and provide support in the community. I love spending time building relationships with young people, as it offers me a unique perspective on life. I am looking to create meaningful work where I can support the needs of you and your family, and provide an enriching experience for your loved one. I have experience working with children ranging from the ages of 3-12 which was acquired by organizing the TD Summer Reading Program at the Mississippi Mills Public Library. Through crafts, activities and literature I was able to connect with children and provide educational and fun experiences. During my time with the program, I worked with various individuals with special needs including ASD and ADHD. Additionally, I also supported some individuals with physical disabilities as well as specific medical conditions. |
Availability : | Currently, my availability is part-time in the summer, however, the possibility of full-time work could be discussed. I am very flexible and eager to accommodate the needs of you and your family. In September, due to my school work responsibilities, I would only be available for part-time work (between 15-25 hours). |
