Worker Bank Registration

The Worker Bank is a referral service. It matches Special Needs Workers with families who are seeking workers for a family member with a Developmental Disability. To help families and workers find the right match we consider some of the following criteria: geographic location, skills, interest, availability and gender of the Special Needs Worker.

In order to apply to become a Special Needs Worker with the Worker Bank, please submit your:

• resume providing us with as much information possible regarding your past experience with persons with Developmental Disabilities and/ or Autism
  
• a police record search certificate for the vulnerable sector, completed within the past six months
• two professional references

As a worker in this program you will be considered an Independent Contractor payed directly by the family that hires you. The Worker Bank or Service Coordination des services are not your employer.
