How to Access Respite

Most respite agencies take referrals directly. Families do not need to go through Service Coordination Support to apply to these programs. A list and details of services available in Ottawa is provided under the Respite Options  tab .

Families can also access the Worker Bank through Service Coordination Support to find special needs workers who can provide in home respite.  The Worker Bank Coordinator can be contacted at 613-748-1788 ext 240
