“respiteservices.com - working together to facilitate respite options that empower individuals with differing abilities and their families to lead active and rewarding lives.”
Respite is a planned break that provides caregivers with a chance to recharge, while knowing that their loved one is safe and having a positive experience.
A respite break can occur in or out of your home, while your loved one is participating in agency or community programs, or while spending time with a private support worker. It can occur during the day, evening, weekend or overnight. It can range from a few hours to an extended break. Respite looks different for every family, as it is based on what works the best for you!
Respite Coordinator
We are here to help! The Respite Coordinator's job is to connect workers who have skill and experience in the field, with families who are seeking respite support.
We recruit, screen and provide all new private support workers with an orientation to the service. It is up to the families or caregivers to meet with potential workers to determine if the match is a good fit for everyone's needs.
All Information submitted to www.respiteservices.com is kept confidential. Worker profiles are shared only with families/caregivers registered with the site.
If you run into any technical difficulties, have a question about the service, or would like us to perform a search for a worker on your behalf, please don't hesitate to reach out to us! We try to respond to all messages within two business days.
