Respite Services Dufferin is here to make the process of finding respite providers easier for families. We maintain an online database of screened respite providers and can match you with them based on your needs and the skills and availability of the respite provider. Respite providers can support families in the family home and community.

What next?

1. Fill out a profile online
2. A facilitator will contact you to confirm your registration and your username and login will be sent to you. A facilitator will then send matches to your profile.
3. Login to your profile with the provided login information and view your respite provider profile matches. Review the profiles you have been sent and decide which providers you would like to contact.
4. Start contacting the workers directly to discuss details, confirm availability, experiences and share about your family’s needs. The respite providers contact information is on their profile.
5. Decide which respite provider(s) you would like to support your family and let them know.
6. Work with the respite provider to arrange schedules, rates of pay, duties etc. You may want to consider signing an agreement.
7. Start receiving a valuable break!

Are you already registered on our database?

Login to your profile on the top right of our website, using the username and password that was emailed to you. You can update your profile with current hours you're requiring and specific skills needed in a respite provider. Then reach out to a facilitator to request additional respite provider profiles. You can contact a facilitator at any time to request additional profiles!
