A 12.5 year old girl with Reactive Attachment Disorder presenting with some ADHD and ASD behaviours requires assistance with her morning routine on school days, includes ensuring that she takes her meds.
Worker's Role :
The worker will be responsible for waking the child up in the morning, and guiding and assisting her with her morning routine. This will include administering her morning meds, making her breakfast and ensuring she has a lunch, and generally keeping her on track and on time so that she gets to school on time. Mother will be in the home while the worker is there, however generally unavailable due to her work schedule.
Someone with a child and youth worker diploma or similar preferred
Availability :
Must be available on weekday mornings from 7:00 am until 9:00 am throughout the school year.
Additional evening hours may be available on occasion.

Very sweet 5-year-old boy who loves playing and exploring new things. He is diagnosed with Cortical Visual Impairment and developmental delay. He is g-tube fed and relies on a manual wheelchair for mobility. Further details will be provided to those who respond to this ad.
Worker's Role :
Respite support is needed for 1- 1.5 hours in the morning on weekdays before school to get him ready and on the bus to school as both parents leave for work in the morning. Duties include feeding through g-tube, giving medications, dressing, changing, and putting him on Parabus. Some lifting required for this morning routine.
