Family Support Options Coordinators

Family Support Options Coordinators work with families of Children with a Developmental Disability or Autism Spectrum Disorder, and or a Physical Disability. This team is employed by the Canadian Mental Health Association Waterloo Wellington and has an ongoing commitment to provide the level of support required by families to negotiate the system successfully.

Coordinators will assist families to search for Direct Support Providers through the respiteservices.com database and will refer families to Access Information and Referral (children) and Developmental Services Ontario (adults) for other respite options.

The Family Support Options team has an ongoing commitment to tailor our service so that we continually support the independence of families who are able to negotiate the system successfully and provide the assistance of a Family Support Options Coordinator when families are in need of it.
